How to obtain 15D

Conditions of use

Academic and non-commercial use

The 15D is in the public domain for academic and non-commercial research and studies with a written permission from Harri Sintonen. Permission is applied by filling in and returning the 15D user’s registration form, where the need for language version(s) is also specified. The 15D questionnaire(s) is (are) sent preferably over email as a Word document. The font and layout of the questionnaire are not strictly defined, but the user can define them so as to make the questionnaire layout uniform with the rest of the study material.

If the potential user wants more information on the 15D than is available on this website before deciding to use the instrument, there is a contact “button” for that purpose.

It is to be noted that producing electronic versions for commercial use from the questionnaires obtained for academic or non-commercial research requires a licence agreement with the copyright holder of the 15D.

What was said above about the 15D applies also to the 16D and 17D.

Commercial or commercially oriented use

For this type of use (e.g. studies financed by pharmaceutical companies) a fee is requested to sponsor methodological, 15D-related research and to cover the costs of general maintenance and development of website and other customer services. The fee is usually per language version needed, but other arrangements can also be negotiated. In these instances please contact the copyright holder for negotiations and agreement.

For possible production of electronic versions for commercial use a licence agreement is required. Please contact the copyright holder for negotiations and agreement.

What was said above about the 15D applies also to the 16D and 17D.
